"This cause is a part of my purpose and I'm so thankful to have a husband that supports my passion to give back to women that have been through the same struggles I've experienced", explained Brittany Dodd-Santiago, Reality Star and Vice President of the non-profit After Orange.

The WeTV Reality Star 'Duo' are hosting The Fun Summer Kick-Off Event Fundraiser at Chanclas Cantina, a sports bar & grill in Las Vegas, on Friday, June 4th from 5-9pm. They intend to raise money and awareness for After Orange, a 501(c)3 organization who's dedicated to helping women successfully integrate back into society once released from jail and prison.

The organization just relaunched their 'Success Path Residency Program', which provides basic essential needs like food, clothing and a clean, sober and supportive place to live; basic skills training, long and short term goal setting & mind mapping tools, job training & placement, and other essential needs for the women to reach their full potential and become self sufficient.

The couple is dedicated to helping as many women as possible. "It takes a village", Marcelino said while discussing the struggles they have faced while helping get the house off the ground. "We've seen some shady people try to take advantage of this vulnerable population, so it's critical that these women have a solid support system once released".

After Orange started as a documentation project back in 2013 when Cassandra Hein, President of After Orange, began documenting Brittany, and other women, as they were released from prison. "I began noticing the single biggest challenge for these women was finding a clean, supportive place to live", Cassandra explained. She went on to open an After Orange home back in 2016 but couldn't keep the doors open due to funding and resources.

Caanen Clegg, Secretary of After Orange and Director of the Success Path Program was also formerly incarcerated with Cassandra's sister Jamie. She explained, "There are a lot of women who still need help with staying on the right track. Our organization and community partners are dedicated to making sure they get the support they need but they have to put in the work". After Orange's partnership with Whip, Inc. (Women Helping Indigent People) has made the re-launch possible. Debbie Smith and Caanen Clegg started the organization to help their community create goals and fulfill their potential, while serving time together at FMWCC.

"We're hosting a meet and greet June 4th and June 5th", Marcelino said in his live post on Instagram this week.  Chanclas Cantina is donating 10% of the bar to After Orange.  There's also going to be fun opportunities to have fun while supporting a great cause.  Guests will have the opportunity to receive a signed copy of Brittany's book: One Woman's Journey To Surviving The Streets, as well as a photo op with the Reality Star Duo, all in exchange for donations to the organization.

There will be a special experience giveaway raffle in exchange for donations, which  gives a small number of participants access to the special 'VIP After Party' with Brittany & Marcelino and exquisite gourmet treats provided by talented Chef Winston Matsuuchi, Treasurer of After Orange.

Brittany, Marcelino, The After Orange Organization and their community partners will be available for red carpet interviews between 4:30-5:30pm on Friday, June 4th at Chanclas Cantina to discuss their plans expand the program and provide more resources as these women are released from prison.
