AFTER ORANGE #THEPRISONPROJECT
After Orange is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. Our mission is to provide education, social services and harm reduction initiatives to people whose lives have been affected by the criminal justice system. Helping ex-offenders assimilate back into society and live their best lives. This includes criminal justice initiatives and reform; Re-entry services, housing, rehabilitation services and education; public outreach, awareness, inclusion, transformation and community service.
ABOUT THE HOUSING PROBLEM FOR PAROLEES
After following many of these women out, just to see them end back up in prison, I started following the housing problem more closely in Las Vegas. This is when I opened a home for women being released. I called the house 'After Orange: Halfway Home'. Only a portion of this footage has been released.

We did open a program called 'Halfway Home' but it was not licensed so we could not get people directly out of prison. These were the women who lived in our home:
